The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 S. San Pedro St. in Little Tokyo, will celebrate Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) on Sunday, March 6, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The family-oriented event features hands-on crafts, Japanese flower arrangement with Haruko Takeichi of Sogetsu School, and a hinaningyo (traditional Girls’ Day doll) display.
RSVPs are required as space is limited. Cost is $20 per person or $30 for two. For more information, visit www.jaccc.org.
