TL;DR:You can ???? ???? ??????? ????????save 46% on the Anker 735 Charger Nano II (65W) at Amazon as of May 26 and pay just $29.99, a record-low price for this versatile charging accessory.
As Mashable's Tech Editor, I review a lot of gadgets. At any given time, I could be testing an action camera, a robot vacuum, a new foldable phone, or a fancy new pair of Sony headphones. To keep them powered up, I also use a variety of chargers, and the Anker 735 Charger Nano II (65W) is my go-to whenever I leave my desk. Normally priced at $55.99 — which is a big ask for a charger — this supercharger is now on sale for $29.99 as part of the Amazon Memorial Day Sale. That's the lowest-ever price for this USB-C charger, and it's currently 46% off for a limited time.
Look, I know that if you're trying to treat yourself with some Memorial Day Weekend shopping, a charger isn't exactly the most exciting purchase. In fact, it may even be the least exciting purchase you make. But believe me when I say this little device is indispensable for me.
Okay, so what makes this charger special?
GaN technology means faster charging with less heat
Comes with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port
Can charge a MacBook, iPhone, and headphones all at once (or whichever equivalent products you prefer)
Can fast-charge a laptop at 65W
It's a durable product backed by an 18-month warranty
I've been using my own Anker 735 for at least 18 months, and it's still going strong, with no noticeable lag on charging times. And because of the GaN components, it will charge your devices more quickly and efficiently than whatever cheap charging brick came with your devices. It's also smaller and more compact than the charger that typically comes with a MacBook.
If you want more juice, you can upgrade to the similar Anker Prime 100W GaN charger or the Anker 140W Max laptop charger, but for everyday charging and travel, I find the 735 works for most purposes.
There are only two small downsides I've found with these products. First, because of their size and shape, they sometimes fall out of wall outlets in really old houses. Second, unless you spring for the 14W charger, they don't come with their own USB-C cables. (Personally, I also like Anker's USB-C cables, particularly the colorful USB-C Flow Cord.) Despite these minor flaws, I still strongly recommend Anker charging products, particularly when you on-the-go or traveling.
