While the controls can be a bit finicky, overall the JBL Authentics 500 speaker delivers impressive sound with deep bass and crisp highs. Our friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) tested it out and noted "The lows are robust, while the vocals and higher-register brass and strings have plenty of treble edge." You can stream through Bluetooth and WiFi and even use Google Assistant or Alexa to play your favorite tunes.
