Xiaomi plans to invest RMB 30 billion ($4.11 billion) in research and ?????? ??????development next year, after spending around RMB 24 billion ($3.28 billion) in 2024, Xiaomi Group partner Lu Weibing told the Xiaomi Human, Car, and Home Ecosystem Partner Conference today. From 2022 to 2026, total R&D investment is expected to exceed RMB 100 billion ($13.7 billion), according to Xiaomi. Lu said in his speech that Xiaomi leads the market in smart home devices, with its ecosystem’s global monthly active users reaching 686 million.
