GARDENA — Tim Toyama will talk about his experiences in theater,download video classic sex film, writing, and teaching on Sunday, May 8, at 2 p.m. at Merit Park Recreation Hall, 58 Merit Park Dr., Gardena.
The program is sponsored by the Greater L.A. chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League.
Toyama is currently the facilitator for the Sansei Stories writing workshop at Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Institute.
He is the award-winning playwright of “Visas and Virtue,” “Independence Day,” “Memorial Day,” “Yuri and Malcolm X,” and “Bronzeville.”
