GARDENA — For those in the mood for some after-work jazz/funk, guitarist Yu Ooka and his group will perform at 7 tonight, Sept. 11, at the Happa restaurant, inside the New Gardena Hotel.
Doors open at 5 p.m. at the hotel, located at 1641 W. Redondo Beach Blvd. in Gardena (across from Pacific Square).
Parking is free at the hotel and there is a $10 cover for the show.
“Pia-no-jac” from Tokyo will open for Ooka’s group, which features:
