And to make their number as Canadian as possible, the duo skated to "Long Time Running" by The Tragically Hip -- a move that warmed the hearts and agitated the tear ducts of many Canadian viewers. (The beloved band's lead singer, Gord Downie, passed away last fall.)

Of course, this won't be the lasttime they skate together. Per Canada's National Post, the two will soon tour Japan and Canada, where they'll do their gold medal thing without the pressure of being scored.
