A reading of scenes from the upcoming film “The Big Bachi” was held at the Far East Lounge in Little Tokyo on Sunday. The event, a fundraiser for the big-screen adaptation of Naomi Hirahara’s first Mas Arai mystery, “Summer of the Big Bachi” (2004), included a Q&A session with the performers and the filmmaking team.
