Two young visitors to Little Tokyo’s Weller Court on Sunday enjoyed an audience with Shogun Santa, who along with his trusty elf assistant (alternately known as Rodney Kageyama and John Tamaki). Putting a Japanese spin on Christmas, Santa and company were posing for photos, handing out candy canes and balloons, and taking note of children’s holiday wishes. Sponsored by the Little Tokyo Business Association and the Little Tokyo Business Improvement District, Shogun Santa will be visiting with kids of all ages for the next two weekends in Little Tokyo; he’ll be in the Japanese Village Plaza Dec. 14 and 21, and at Weller Court Dec. 14 and 22.
