But Apeks were far from done, as they put up a wall of their own on the defense and nullified Daniil "?headtr1ck?" Valitov's impact with good utility usage and trading. Eight in a row meant they reduced the deficit to just three but headtr1ck woke up once again by winning a 1vs3 clutch, putting his kill count up to 31 and his team up to map point. Even that wasn't enough to avoid overtime, though, as Apeks brought it back to 15-15 after being 3-14 down.

With the game's momentum completely switched around, Apeks took the lead for the first time on the map, 17-16. An incredible triple by jL put them on match point before nawwk's 1vs2 clutch secured Apeks the victory and a playoff spot.
