The video lucah melayu rogolDanish in-game leader was full of pride for his team's performance.
Marco "?Snappi?" Pfeiffer has toiled away in the competitive scene for over a decade, often having to operate in the shadows of players like Finn "?karrigan?" Andersen and Lukas "?gla1ve?" Rossander, who were more renowned Danish in-game leaders. Since arriving at ENCE, however, he has built a reputation for himself as an elite leader, one capable of forging disparate parts into a competitive unit.
Snappi added a long-awaited LAN trophy to his list of accomplishments at IEM Dallas and cemented his status as a championship-caliber caller. After achieving the momentous accomplishment, the 32-year-old gave his thoughts on broadcast about ENCE’s overall performance.
"We felt good from the start, everyone was 100% into the game every time," the Dane began. "It was amazing seeing everybody step up at different times, I think this was a tournament where we never lost ourselves and I’m really proud of everyone.
"I’m super proud of all the boys over there, they were super good here on stage, and I’m super proud of me and sAw also, I think we have done an amazing job picking up different pieces."
He concluded his interview on stage by stating "It’s been a long time, I am happy I got over this barrier, winning a big trophy, I think the next will come a bit easier now."
In an interview with blix.gg, the Danish caller went into further detail on his thoughts about ENCE’s run in Dallas, starting with the difference between this year’s competition and ENCE’s run to the final last year.
"To be honest, I think we have grown [since then], and this team right now is much better on stage," Snappi opined. "On top of it, we played with Snax. Not to say anything bad about Snax because, to be honest, he was the best player in the final [last year], and he was unreal, but obviously, it makes a difference when you are playing with a stand-in because you lack some of your structure and strategies."
Snappi also provided some insight into how ENCE approached MOUZ as an opponent. "On Nuke, in general, they had some gaps," he said.
"I'm not going to go into detail because I want to be able to use it, but there were some big gaps on Nuke, in my opinion. On Mirage, they were gambling a little bit, I would say. We ran into one stack, but then we also hit them a few times where they didn't have it."
He was of course asked about the performance of tournament MVP, álvaro "?SunPayus?" García, and Snappi revealed some words he had previously shared with the Spaniard in an effort to get the most out of him.
"His favorite AWPers were these Russian AWPers in sh1ro and Jame," Snappi said. "I've been telling him, 'Stop watching these. You can play this style, but you can be so much more aggressive. You can get so much more out of yourself.'"
Snappi concluded by discussing his reputation within the scene, and how this victory might affect the community’s perception of him.
"I believe that I'm an in-game leader that always got more out of my players than maybe I should have," the veteran told blix, "and now here in ENCE, I believe I will be a very respected in-game leader for taking a lot of tier two [players] and helping them get into tier one, developing all of them and being able to develop this team into a trophy team."
