Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. First St. (between San Pedro and Central) in Little Tokyo, will hold its Family Festival on Sunday, Oct. 18, starting at 11 a.m.
Performances, including drumming by Koyasan Taiko, a karate demonstration, a choral group singing traditional Japanese songs, and a magic show, start at 1 p.m.
The festival will also feature food, a raffle, a calligraphy shop, Japanese amulets, an a beanbag contest.
